We host these materials on our own servers and credit the original projects below. Where a licence requires attribution, that credit is given on this page and, where practical, on the feature that uses the material.

- OpenSky Network terms of use. API data is provided for non-profit research and education; citation is required when publishing or displaying this data.

- Optional admin aircraft overlay on the photo locations map (UK and English Channel airspace only). For interest and planning only — not for operational or safety-critical use. Can be disabled in Admin → Site Settings.
Aircraft positions and metadata are retrieved via the OpenSky REST API. Optional OpenSky API client credentials may be configured in Admin → Site Settings to improve rate limits. Map aircraft silhouettes are adapted from the tar1090 ADS-B map project (GPL-2.0). Aircraft type and operator details may also be retrieved from hexdb.io (ICAO hex lookup) and, when configured, the official Flightradar24 API. Flightradar24’s public website cannot be scraped automatically.
UK drone flight restrictions

- Used for
- Optional logged-in drone FRZ overlay on the map, and major UK airport marker positions when the admin aircraft layer is enabled. Zone polygons and site names are derived from the published NATS dataset; this site does not republish the full dataset.
Aurora alerts

- AuroraWatch UK API terms. Non-commercial use only; alert thresholds and colours must not be altered.
- Used for
- Optional logged-in aurora alert overlay on the map, and magnetometer activity on location pages. Planetary K-index values are from the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center.
Cloud-cover forecast

- Clear Outside (forecast data powered by Meteosource).
- Used for
- Optional admin cloud-cover heatmap on the map and forecast panel in Admin. Clear Outside does not publish a public API; this site reads their public forecast pages for configured coordinates.
Scenic driving routes
- North Coast 500
- Route geometry derived from OpenStreetMap contributors via the Overpass API. OpenStreetMap licence.
- Northumberland 250
- Route geometry from the public MyRoute-app RouteXpert library (routes 5438901 and 5438902, Nick Carthew).
- Wales Coast 400
- Based on the Wales Coast Path dataset from DataMapWales / Natural Resources Wales.
- Wild Atlantic Way
- data.gov.ie (CC BY 4.0).
