Parking:

• The nearest parking is available at the small lay-by located along the B9033 road, approximately 0.5 miles from the lighthouse. The lay-by can accommodate a few vehicles but may fill up quickly, especially during weekends and peak tourist seasons.
• An alternative option is to park in the village of Cruden Bay, about 2 miles away, and take a scenic walk along the coastal path to the lighthouse, which takes around 40 minutes.

Access:

• The path from the lay-by to the lighthouse is well-trodden but can be uneven and slightly steep in sections. Expect some rocky terrain and a few muddy patches, particularly after rain. There are no gates or stiles, but be prepared for a short scramble over some rocks as you approach the lighthouse.
• The area surrounding the lighthouse is designated as Open Access land, meaning you can explore freely. However, be cautious of potential restrictions during nesting seasons for local seabirds, and ensure you respect any signage regarding wildlife.
